Nice way to spend a couple of hours - relaxing drive along the beautiful coast road looking at stunning scenery and wondering who lives in the beautiful houses....

You could take all day if you want, everything seemed open to the public. Lots of parking at most of the POI. Worth the time just to see Pebble Beach

This was a beautiful drive and allowed us to experience lots along the way, the sea was calm in areas and crashing in others but very warm outside to walk. To see Pebble Beach Golf Course, The Lone Cypress Tree and Coast Line all in...More

I have been going to Carmel for years and have only taken the part from the gate at Pebble Beach Club house along the water. Last week I did the whole thing and it was a bit of a waste of time. We keep driving...More

We drove this from Carmel to Monterrey. While scenic, charging a toll for the drive was unexpected given that you get similar or better scenic experience driving CA-1 along the coast. It felt like it was a money-making scheme for Pebble Beach. The pull-overs for...More

I wouldn't say you absolutely 'must' do this whilst in the area but it was a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. It's an easy drive, only costs $10, the views are stunning and houses very attractive.

Everybody talks about it and I say they are absolutely right! Get in your car and just do it. I think it was a $10 toll to get through the initial pass and after that you are on your own to see some of God's...More

A must-see! One of the most beautiful drives in California. I have been on this drive 4 or 5 times. Please look at the beautiful homes besides the ocean.

You must reserve a time with The Lodge Concierge...you are allowed 2 hours to do the 17 Mile route and visit all the lookout points...the time goes fast...worth the complimentary ride.

Yes, I think so. There is more than one entry gate but the 17 Mile Drive is only between Carmel and Monterey
