Beautiful beach. Beautiful town. Great hamburgers just down the street. Charming train passing by. Doesn't get much better than this!

Love the warm water, sandy beaches with minimal seaweed and rocks. Walk out in the water past the waves and still be able to stand. Great body surfing or boogie boarding. My all time favorite beach. Grew up going to this beach and even though...More

Carpinteria State Beach is a small beach that seems less touristy than most Southern California beaches. The sand is very fine and soft but really absorbs the heat! Be sure to wear your flip flops! Touted as the World's Safest Beach, this is not the...More

Beach is beautiful and it's a cute town. Great restaurants and laid back. We went down to check out the beach. It's beautiful and was PACKED! It's also Saturday and hot.

We had a fabulous day at Carp Beach with friends. We plan to go back all summer and camp in a few weeks. The weather was perfect and the water was warm. Just keep an eye out for sharks!

Carpinteria State Beach is very safe due to the fact that the coast line does not cause rip currents or under tow. This makes a more enjoyable beach experience. The area is well maintained and the surrounding area offers all the necessary ammenities.

I grew up here and came back to visit. Carpinteria is still a little beach town without the glamour of Santa Barbara but that is a good thing. Great little cafes and the best beach for families.

Fun beach to visit on Father's Day although the beach was packed! Was hard to find a place to sit. Otherwise good beach and fun waves for kids to play in. Only bummer is you can't surf!

Good place to relax, let the children play in the park, enjoy the small town, wonder the beach. Safe, but can probably get quite busy.

There are no hotels on the beach-just condo rentals. I don't know which spa you are talking about. Sorry.
