Costs $5.00 to park your car, but a very nice location. Bridge is about 230 feet long, nestled in a small canyon. Place to have a picnic, and just sit around and enjoy the scenery.

The covered bridge is a great little picnic spot with waking access to the water (watch for snakes though!!!) The winding drive up honey run road is beautiful in early spring too! Take it all the way up the hill to Paradise, CA

This place screams of old heritage! You can easily imagine horse drawn buggies trip trooping over this bridge. There are picnic tables and bathrooms for visitors. There is a donation box for visitors where the money goes towards repairing and up keeping the bridge. When...More

That may very well be true. Grass Valley isn't terribly far from Chico either but it is a 2-3 hour trip. I was inferring only to the fact of the bridge being in the Butte county area and it being located in the Valley... More
