If you are into planes....

You gotta go here it's rad actually it;s really a great place to go. I only wished there was more room in between planes so you can photograph easier.

There are eight or ten truly important aviation museums in the USA today, and this is one of them. As an aviator and amateur aviation historian I have been remiss in not visiting POF sooner. This is truly a special place, but better late than never. My timing was terrible. I've been on the road for 5 weeks and the... More

The staff is phenomenal: courteous, friendly and helpful. The exhibits were outstanding and presented with the history of the plane. The docents were there to embellish the story. What a fun time! Definitely recommend it for anyone who has an interest in aviation or history. Thank you for a most remarkable day.

While in Los Angeles, I wanted to visit this air museum to see my favorite plane the Vought Corsair. I was a little disappointed it was put away wings folded, but loving all things mechanical so found plenty other planes to gaze in wonderment at. Highlight was the B-17 Flying Fortress being restored as they had when I visited a... More

An easy way to see many older airplanes displayed both indoors and out. Focus seems to be on American warplanes from the 40s - 70s. Go with someone who shares your interest in airplanes or you may feel rushed. There are many interesting facts to read on the placards. I would plan 2-3 hours for your visit.

Lots to see and read at this great place! If you have very young children (under 2) they might get bored since there's nothing to touch or play with and the history / reading is beyond their level. However, there is a lot to see and great stories at every turn for older children. Price is fair and you easily... More

Just a few planes to see but enough for my 10yr old to keep interested. It took us about 1 1/2 hrs. People really nice. Took my son who basically lives on iPad trying to show a little history. He actually said he enjoyed going even though it was hot!

They have a great collection of military planes and vehicles in military settings. Great place walk around and see aircraft. They have plaques so you can read about the aircraft on display. Yes, they have a gift shop!

Spend a fun morning or afternoon looking at all the fine planes for many years ago. There's also many displays to look at, read and learn. Lot's of history for aviation buffs. Enjoy!
