Visited this piece of history. After parking in the parking lot, took the shuttle and then walked the trails. Not much exists of the Hercules plant except some slab and lumps of concrete. The best part was Mother Nature's work, the land, plants and animals....More

Access is confusing. You can only get there when the Discovery Center is open, 10-5 daily. Park in the parking lot and take the shuttle to the Discovery Center where you will find trails through Gunpowder Point. No cars permitted. No charge if you do...More
