The views from the course are mesmerizing. Probably one of the toughest courses I've ever played. Very well designed, and you have to think about placing every shot instead of trying to overpower it. Definitely not for beginners. People giving this course 1 star don't...More

First of all the staff and service at the course was WONDERFUL! Hat's off to everyone for making me feel so welcome. I played as a single and couldn't have had a better experience. Course is difficult, so don't expect an easy round. But enjoy...More

Made a day of it with breakfast, 18 holes of golf then lunch. Food was very good. Cant beat the atmosphere there. I really like the course but not easy for us 20 handicapers.

No question, the course is beautiful! But... bring lots of balls. Frankly, the course is so tricked out it's simply.... well, unfair. If you have a somewhat errant shot, you're doomed! Even good shots can result in a punishing result. The greens are brutal. Undulating,...More

Played here the first week it opened about 20 years ago. Very pretty course with spectacular views, but rediculously difficult!!! About half-way through the round, my friend, who was a +1 at the time, looked at me and said, "this place will never make it"...More

I have played "The Dragon" several times. I just love this course. It is beautiful and is challenging up in the middle of the mountains. Definitely not a links course. Much up and down and over the ravine. I love the views!

Very friendly staff and a fabulous Frank Lloyd Wright designed clubhouse. Views are incredible. This is a very, very difficult course. Huge elevation changes. You cannot walk this course. The 6th hole is impossible. It should be redesigned. I played in late September of 2016....More

What a impressive building, the view is wonderful. I had a Filet, it was delicious, my wife had Veal Piccata which she to throughly enjoyed. Service was slow, but got better when more servers arrived. I would like to go back soon.

Bit of a haul from the tahoe lake area but very much worth the drive. This was my favorite track played in the region. I can see why high handicappers struggle but choose the appropriate tees, pay attention to the helpful tips for each hole,...More

Ok, Dragon is a bit of a schlep--but well worth it! This is the best golf value in the Tahoe area. Highway 89 is in great condition. The views on the way up are very scenic. It is reminiscent of what this area was like...More
