What a great beach to find Sand Dollars! There are sooo many shells to be found. The sand looks like it has gold in it, probably from the crushed shells? Couldn’t bring home some of the sand dollars we found as they were still alive...More

This is a nice place. We own a pop-up, so we aren't exactly in the RV set, but it was great for us. We got a site right on the beach and I would urge everyone to do the same. Otherwise, its just a big...More

This place is beautiful. You can see the Navy helicopters flying over, the mountains, and beautiful scenery for pictures. Definitely something to check out.

We drove over to Coronado as part of our visit to San Diego, drove down to this beach and were turning around to head back since we were getting close to the Mexican border. Nice parking area with beach access. Enjoyed the sunset and wading...More

A very wide open beach looking out to the ocean, great for digging for clams, especially the larger longboat variety. Lots of sand and plenty of places to picnic, BBQ, or just sit and relax. Restroom facilities close by and lots of parking (state maintained...More

So the beach is very nice. Little over 4 miles from the gorgeous Coronado Beach and The Del Hotel. Very clean and nicely lit up parking. There is electricity and water at each spot. The 100’s are right on the beach but you can’t see...More

Location is nice and the beach is beautiful, but that is all! Camp hosts are not very pleasant. Hours of the park (even though on the website are noted) are not actually clear. Check-in is 2pm, by the time you get settled, it is 3pm...More

There are beautiful views of the bay and bridge. The park behind is very open, playground for the kids, public bathroom but you will want to come at high tide. At low tide there is not water just mud.

It's a little out of the tourist way which is so nice! The beach is clean and costs $10 for parking. I saw my little bro play beach soccer here and the sand and beach are all well kept. If you want a beach with...More
