Beautiful place to come and stroll the beaches with small children. There are walking paths by Hotel Del Coronado that are wide enough for strollers or bikes with carriers for kids. It is a quaint community with good schools. You’ll see a lot of military...More

Lots of fun dining and shops with easy walks to get around. All levels of dining with great little stops to formal dinners. The Hotel Del is a nice walkthrough for shops and lite fare. The most fun is the unhurried nightlife at the ferry...More

I was born on Coronado and even though it means driving across the bridge instead of driving onto a ferry boat, every time I arrive back in Coronado I am reminded of what a special place it is! First and foremost, it's completely walkable, so...More

Really nice place to visit. The people are friendly, and it's not too rushed or busy in the area. Easy to drive around, and plenty of places to eat.

Last day in San Diego and we decided to stop by and see the beach. So glad we did! The sand felt like powder between our toes and looked like someone add some gold glitter. Well worth the trip!

We explored the island by driving from one end - the Border Field State Park to the town of Coronado. There are beautiful beaches the whole length of the island. It is possible to take a ferry across if you only want to visit downtown,...More

No. There is a path at the edge of the sand, but none to the water. This concrete path runs along the edge of the sand between the hotel and the edge of the sand.

Call the hotel you are staying at on Coronado. They should be able to help you.
