My mom, brother, sister and I camped at Doheny State beach our whole childhood life. It has nice additions, sadly it’s missing a mountain but it’s clean and we had a great time.

Beach was amazing! A lot of surfers to watch and amazing sunsets. Not really crowded but then we went in the middle of the week.

Went here to just relax while on vacation. There's something I absolutely love about the beach and the sound of waves. It's so peaceful and mesmerizing. I went to Doheny Beach a couple times while on vacation. I am not a surfer but I think...More

we’ve been coming for years. It’s hard to get a campsite. Also we have had a couple bikes stolen by some of the local homeless in the area. My kids like to surf at this beach.

We bought a yearly state parking pass so no fee for us. Some grass and picnic areas, lots of sand beach, burger joint right on beach with table and umbrellas.

This is a State Beach with easy parking access and a wonderful location to take the family for the day. There is food, fun and sun, and oh B T W small waves with shallow water for teaching kids to surf, rocky bottom

Excellent parking, bicycles rental, wide flat area to walk or bike or skate. Pleasant shady lawn under tall palm trees, very clean public rest rooms, out showers, BBQs and wide tables. Quite an unforgettable beach!
