Walked along near the old pier and the "shark" beach. (It has a rock sticking out that looks like a shark fin.) Easy access and very walkable.

Beautiful white, clean sand beach! Cliffs on both sides with about 300'+ beach. Windy annd cool.Tide pools to the left. Lovely, Peaceful. Also, enjoy watching windsurfing!

Traveling down the California coast, we stayed in Davenport for a night and hiked down to the beach. Watched the waves pound the rocks as the tide came in. Nice secluded sandy beach. Worth the short hike down.

If you are talking about just Davenport Beach and Davenport Landing, I haven't seen any swings at either one. Diane Warriner

yes, but you can't bring pallets or anything with nails, and it's a steep hike. I do like to build fires here, too much work. I walk here, but burn in Santa Cruz.
