Brought my 6yo grandson here for a short morning activity. The staff & docents were very thorough in explaining their rules and telling about the birds & koi. They seemed to love their work! While a small place, the koi are huge, colorful and will...More

This is a very small sanctuary with quite a few rescued birds. Parrots Cockatiels, Cockatoos and more exotics. Many of them can be touched with permission . The staff are very very dedicated. You can buy food and offer it to just about all the...More

Went there in May, my 9 year olds loved this place. The birds all have different personalities, and you are right there WITH them. Be careful, some like to bite!

This was a little out of the way place. Please check the hours of operation. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and they were closing up and putting the birds away. There was still a full charge, but I felt it funded a good cause....More

Visiting friends in Cartiff and they suggested we visit. I'm so glad we visited. The place is small but the experience was huge! I've never had exotic birds so accessible. I took some great shots with my camera and we ended spending 2.5 hours there.
