The caves were spectacular and definitely worth the drive. The guide was very knowledgeable and am grateful that she explained everything in English for us, especially as everybody else was Greek.

Great tour in the cave, I found the ticket a bit expensive, 8€ per person. In the website I didn't find the schedule of the group tours and the kids got a little tired waiting 40 minutes outside the door.

When the door was opened into the caves it was just amazing. I have never seen anything like it before. Perhaps if you have then it won't be such an amazing experience but for first-timers it was a real experience.

When you visit a sight - you take everything in visually - if it is something you might want to research further, no one will stop you - between visual and actual info you will be able to get a better feel of what you have seen... the tours guides are not your "host/hostess" they are doing you a favor by even talking to you. Their real job is to make certain no one gets hurt or lost within the cave or structure as it were... So you feel you need a private tour - Ask for one!!! but be prepared for the amount you will be asked to pay... When I leave my home I make it a point to have fun, engage the people around me, always give them something to remember and talk about. if you talk nicely and not like an entitled fool you will see a difference!!! Have Fun!!!!!!! Do you agree...?
