The Rio-Antirrio Bridge was my day's attraction while traveling by car from the Peloponnese to Central Greece. It is an architectural wonder, reminding me of sailboats skimming across the water. It did not disappoint. Coming from the south-west, I could see it for miles before...More

We were lucky enough to have this stunning structure as our scenic view from our hotel every day. It is one of the longest mulit-span cable-stayed bridges in the world. It was opened in 2004 and links the town of Rio on the Peloponnese peninsula...More

If you are in the general vicinity, this is an impressive bridge and worth a visit. We stopped at the village of Antirrio side and had lunch at a seaside tavern, overlooking the bridge and people swimming in the crystal clear waters and enjoying the...More

The best and cheapest way enjoy this beautiful bridge is sailing under by your yacht:)) No traffic, no fee to pay, no time limitation...The only thing you need to ask for the guidenes Rio traffic ( whf channel 14) at the distance 5 miles away...More

This bridge was opened in 2004, and is an incredible structure. It is one of the world's longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges, and links the towns of Rio on the Peloponnese Peninsula to Antirrio on mainland Greece. The toll of thirteen Euros is expensive but is...More

The bridge is really nice but when you find out how much you have to pay aftre you drove it’s kinda shocking. 13 euros one way. If you’re quick and will be returning in few hours then the price is the same, however if you...More

It is quite expensive at €13 but at least that means that there is not too much traffic and you can enjoy the drive. The bridge itself is a beautiful structure and the engineering is amazing.

An imposing structure, yes it is but it is expensive to cross and cannot be walked over. It is best observed from the shore or the many ferries that run across the water nearby. These are also less expensive and can carry cars etc as...More

I traveled 3 times there. I crossed the bridge and was surprised by the extremely high price - 13.30 Euros. So I asked lady on payment stopover to let me come back for free ;) She agreed! So I paid 13.30 + 0.30 for coming...More

This is a great-looking bridge. The toll was a bit hefty but the bridge itself has a beautiful architecture to it, connecting Patras and Antirrio. The asphalt was slightly above average. The guard rails were excellent. The superstructure was top-tier.

It is under the bridge = right before you go to the bridge. You should see the sign with the Ferry.
