such a shame, its run down & overgrown and closed, beautiful harbor & the color of the sea unbelievable due to the sulfur, a little smelly in places. lol, we actually saw two dolphins on the way down the mountains which was magical.

Used to be the best spa in the whole region..actually was the 2nd in Greece for its waters......then the ministry of tourism decided that could not finance the business anymore...so they closed the place. Nowadays another entrepreneur runs another spa business near-by (called Agioi Anargyroi)...More

There is not mych to write really, it's closed and there is no idea when is it opened. We went to the town today, it's nice little town with beach, but really apocalyptic. There was ca 5 people more than me, wife and kids. Some...More

We certainly got a lot out of this cultural experience. It was not quite what we were expecting, however the spa was quaint and very clean.

When visiting Methana it is impossible to miss the beautiful spa building just after entering the town. The building was built in the beginning of 1900 by a German architect. It has become the identification sign of Methana. Really great place, but they should work...More
