These gardens are just so beautiful. Levels of gorgeous koi ponds, waterfalls, walkways, sitting areas that lead all the way up to the most amazing view overlooking the ocean. True bliss in a peaceful setting. They also have a great little gift shop full of...More

The compact garden leads to a wonderful view of the Pacific at the top. A quiet retreat with a surprising variety of gorgeous plants and blooms. Sit and enjoy, and leave a token amount for the privilege.

It is not 'super special' but you never the less come out feeling refreshed. Worth a quick jaunt. The koa are beautiful, some of the largest I have seen.

Great place along the coast. The koi ponds where wonderful and had an extensive variety of fish. Very peaceful and thoughtful place.

The gardens occupy a significant chunk of prime ocean-vieweing real estate in Encinitas. I thought the gardens were nice, perhaps a bit too groomed - a spiritual center, I'd expect them to work more WITH Nature, rather than working nature. It has also ocurred to...More

This center has an absolutely beautiful garden that is open to the public. The only problem is that everybody knows about it! Maybe early morning would provide more solitude....

I love this place. You can move from the hustle and bustle of exciting old Encinitas downtown, into an oasis of peace, quiet and beauty. Very rejuvenating.

Very restful and fun way to spend an hour walking in a well kept and beautiful parklike setting. It is crowded on weekends, but much nicer during the week. Extremely nice path with some elevations and descents. Love the Koi ponds.
