What a great day! Beautiful weather, not crowded, lots of active animals! Could see lots of animals from the tram ride. The highlight was at the lions. One started roaring and the other two joined in, too. You just never know what you will happen...More

Though fairly steep admission price, this zoo is definitely worth the cost. The staff is knowledgable and eager to share information about their programs and the animals.

The new Walkabout Australia exhibit is lots of fun - you get to walk around inside the exhibit, the kangaroos and wallabies can walk up to you and you are allowed to touch them, if you want. There are also Australian Magpie Geese wandering around,...More

This place is AMAZING!! We spent the money on the safari tour and got to feed a rhino and a giraffe! Had a completely amazing day and this park is more than big enough to spend the whole day. Definitely go see!!

The cost of entry and parking is not inexpensive so plan on spending half or a full day to get the most out of your entertainment dollar. Lots to see and do, live performances as well as gift shops and eateries. Suggest arriving early to...More

Even better than the San Diego Zoo, since the animals have SO much room to enjoy and aren't trapped in small enclosures. I suggest starting with the ride that takes you over a lot of the park and then walking the rest. We went EVERYWHERE...More

Awesome is the first word I can say about this safari park. Couple of days we visited the San Diego Zoo but we like this Safari where you can see most of the animals are roaming around and not caged. There is African Safari tram...More

If you purchase the full day safari I would spend time at bird show, lorikeets feeding, gorillas, tigers and Australian exhibits.
