My wife and I had a good time at the Safari Park. There is an easy to follow path to see all of the animals, but be prepared to walk and there are some large open areas between animals. We went on the Caravan Safari...More

Spent most of our time in the new Australia section! Animals are not locked up but in their own habitat.

The San Diego Safari Park exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful park that is extremely well decorated and well-kept. The enclosures are huge and stunning, giving the animals large areas to roam. There are also a number of enclosures that you can actually enter...More

Huge 1,800 acre park divided into many geographical zones with lots of animals to see. Excellent and exciting for children but miles of walking to do inside the park which is somewhat slows you down with small children and strollers. Signage on the many paths...More

Great place to visit with family or as a couples thing. The animals are kept in a very look a like environment. I felt I was in Africa while riding the train around the park. My favorite place is visiting the giraffes up close. They're...More

If you purchase the full day safari I would spend time at bird show, lorikeets feeding, gorillas, tigers and Australian exhibits.

Yes it does. You can see a lot of the animals and the guide gives a great talk about the animals you see.
