I rolled up to here and what you find is a garage door in an industrial building that hides a taproom inside. This reminds me of many of the taprooms in Minnesota. I sampled 4 four ounce tasters for $2 each and then one of...More

Port Brewing and Lost Abbey Brewing are located in the same industrial park just north of San Diego. We visited about 10 different breweries in the area - and this was one of our favorites! Slightly grungy vibe + super friendly staff + awesome beer...More

Came for the beer and the Lost Abbey didn't disappoint ! We had some peanuts with us that we shared while sitting at the bar and enjoyed a few sampler sized 4 oz pours. The samples ranged in price from $1.50 to $2 a piece....More

I have been here in the Escondido area trying craft breweries with HQ being the stone world bistro. But the Port Brewing Company/lost Abbey is an exceptional find. Excellent traditional hoppy California beers. But also, an interesting selection of Belgian influenced beers. Very accommodating staff....More

Not a restaurant or fancy tasting room. Port's pub is basically built right in the brewery works, so the surroundings don't increase the price of the beer. Both Port and Lost Abbey brews are exceptional. A fun place to hang out for a beer

Port Brewing is an operating, live brewery, with numerous excellent brews, served around sizable community tables. Their Anniversary Ale Double IPA is superb... If you understand beer, that is...

Really cool atmosphere in the brewery. Close to 20 beers on tap between Lost Abby and Port City. The Framboise sour was one of the best I have had, and the Old Viscosity was great.

If you are on a brewery tour this is a must stop. The beer is excellent and has a great atmosphere. They server many stiles of beer but their specialty is barrel aged beer. I had the forty dollar taster of their rare beers which...More

Located in an industrial park, you don't expect much atmosphere from a brewery tasting room. Yet, Lost Abbey has a delightful grungy vibe about it. Somewhat dimly lit, with barrels of aging brews lining the walls and artwork of their theme, you get the feeling...More

Nothing crazy or funky here to look at. Tap room thrown into a brewery. Restroom is thrown together. Beers are solid all around, price is affordable and not over the top. Friendly staff for the most part, they seemed to enjoy their gigs. Self server...More

The microbreweries all give a "tour". It's not formal at all. So if Lost Abbey doesn't do it the day you are there, another one will. There a several dozen in the area, so plenty to choose from. Personally, once you've... More
