Wow! Generally, I'm not a fan of Escondido at all, I consider it the armpit of San Diego County... But my recent visit to Cordiano Winery may have changed that. Make a reservation for one of the outdoor tables, the panoramic view from this mountain...More

I have been here twice now and will return. The long and winding road up into the hills of Escondido really make you feel like you are getting away. This family winery offers a large patio for dining, wine tasting, and a banquet venue. In...More

Our niece and her fiance had their wedding here at Cordiano Winery and we all had a wonderful time. Great view for the sunset, absolutely beautiful view. Good wine. Great place for a wedding.

Not worth the drive from San Diego. Would rather taste wine and eat in Little Italy. No service, you serve yourself everything and the staff is rude and out of sync with wine tasting eticate around the US, and world. Not recommending to anyone, ever.

Great pizzas and bread sticks. Excellent wine selections, estate and other California varieties. Friendly and attentive staff. Wonderfully gregarious owner. Greeted our party with a huge smile, great stories and inviting personality. Our chauffeur was Paris from San Diego Wine & Spirits Tour!

The views are the reason to go and the food is ok but false advertising is an issue. They advertise wood fired pizza and they have a wood pizza oven but don’t use it to cook the pizza. Very disappointing

Assuming you have a car, going east will take you to Julian, a quaint little village about 1200 meters elevation. Closer to the northwest is Fallbrook. There is a park called 'Live Oak' that has a few hiking trails. The... More
