We sampled their wines and found some very good red wines. Their "Teroldego" was an excellent dry red wine with a full body and a bold flavor. The staff was helpful and friendly and made you relaxed and did not pressure you to purchase anything....More

Really pleasant winery that is very family friendly. The wines are very good went away with two whites and three delicious desert wines. The hostess Rosie was very friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds were of ample size for families to enjoy their wine, picnic and...More

Thanks for visiting us, and for taking the time to write a review. We introduce new wines throughout the year, and the grounds are always beautiful to spend an afternoon, so please come back anytime. Cheers!
This is literally our "neighborhood go-to winery." They really do make their wine on site and carry a few other local wines from other winemakers who care about their craft.
A wonderfully comfortable environment.
Thank C F

A very nice winery and hostess was friendly & helpful.
Lovely grounds to walk around. My husband and I come to Escondido during Thanksgiving week periodically and 1st time to visit this winery.
Bought a couple of wines while there after tasting different ones.

Stopped by Sunday early afternoon, wine tasting 11am - 5 pm. Went for “RED” tasting. You can get to taste 6 different wines for $10. Counter people were super very nice. What a cute, cozy place... It is right off 15 freeway. Lots of orange...More
We had wanted to visit a local winery on our trip back to Escondido. Read about this winery on their website. We have been to Napa and Sonoma wineries. Belle Marie has just been added to our list of favorite wineries. It is smaller, but...More
Try to support this local winery in Escondido. They specialize in reds but have other choices too. Grapes generally come from the Guadalupe Valley in Mexico. No estate wines that I'm aware of -- insufficient space. Nice picnic area amongst the orange trees.
Belle Marie was my wife's favorite and I have to say mine too. We even started a membership in their wine club and are members to this day. Just an excellent winery, wonderful staff and very educated wine makers..love it!
Tasted a lot of great wines and drank a lot more at an event here and was pleased to wake up the next morning with no headache. My wife normally has one after a single glass and had no problem either. I learned the typical...More
