The San Diego Archaeological Center is a good location to teach young children the basic skills of Archaeology. It has very nice hands on teaching tools. But for adults also a lot to see and do. Both young and old will definitely enjoy the visit.

This is close to the Safari Park and the San Pascal Battlefield, and an excellent place to look at the artifacts of a very successful indigenous culture in the San Diego area. Excellent presentations of interactions too.
