We stopped by here on the way to the Wild Animal Safari. It’s spacious with many places to picnic, ride bikes or whatever sport you’d enjoy. We saw a small lake and the girls and boys camping areas. Nice spot for a day outside.

No comparison for outdoor plays but I enjoyed watching the play. There was lots of hard bench seating and they sell thin cushions for cheap ($5 or less I think), they helped but still rough to sit. They provided an intermission which helped and there...More

This is a very good and very well used community park with extensive grounds and lots of recreation facilities. We use this as a senior citizen walking ground, and it could use a bit more shade, but on a cool day, this does the job.

Kit Carson Park is just lovely and well kept - the walkways are beautiful, there are ballparks and picnic areas, outdoor sculptures, and one of the best disc golf courses in San Diego county. We are there regularly and are very thankful for this park!

A lovly place to picnic, walk or play Frisbee golf. Yes they have a Frisbee golf course but if you just want a nice walk there is a wonderful exhibit of sculptors made from tiles and beautiful stones and mirrors .

There are extensive concrete walkways that pose no problem. The dirt trails are often uphill/downhill, so could present a challenge.
