We stopped by here on the way to the Wild Animal Safari. It’s spacious with many places to picnic, ride bikes or whatever sport you’d enjoy. We saw a small lake and the girls and boys camping areas.
Nice spot for a day outside.

Kit Carson Park is just lovely and well kept - the walkways are beautiful, there are ballparks and picnic areas, outdoor sculptures, and one of the best disc golf courses in San Diego county. We are there regularly and are very thankful for this park!
A lovly place to picnic, walk or play Frisbee golf. Yes they have a Frisbee golf course but if you just want a nice walk there is a wonderful exhibit of sculptors made from tiles and beautiful stones and mirrors .
