A small venue, lots of hands-on, great for all ages! Better than huge Natural History Museums. The kiddos will love it, and you will too (kiddos being up thru teens).

We are really lucky in southern CA to have this museum in our area. It is small but it has a huge collection of rocks, bones, skeletons, eggs and other things. A lot of it is copies but some are real. But the museum is...More

I took my grandchildren here. They were very interested in the fossils and the dinosaur skeletons. A lovely way to spend the afternoon. The staff is very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. The children learned a lot, and they enjoyed it.

Our kids go here for school field trips, Boy Scout and Girl Scout field trips as well. The rain and Museum just recently relocated to grand Avenue. It was in someone's house for many years. It's a wonderful hands-on collection for kids

If you or your kids are into dinosaurs or rocks, this is quite a collection. All legit, Smithsonian quality, awesome use of space to display rare pieces. Educational workshops for 3rd grade and up with make/take project.
