One of the best organized hometown history briefings I've attended! We visited the place together with another family, on 26/12/23, a public holiday, where everyone rests, or almost everyone... The tour guide, with an excess of appetite, with tremendous narration and color in her tone of voice and excellent knowledge of the history of the place, took us back to that time. Tireless, telling each group the same things, but always with passion, she was excellent at her job!!!! A huge thumbs up for her effort, it's worth every Euro (which is minimal entrance fee)!!! The Hani is kept in perfect condition, the premises are very well kept and clean, it is a gem of the area that is really worth seeing. Well done!!!

An interesting visit to a place of private initiative. At the beginning there is narration of the story by a tour guide in a particularly slick way. Watch a short documentary and visit the rest of the exhibition space.

Proof that something special can be done in a non-touristy place

Having been in Gravia many years ago, I had no idea that this little museum really existed in this glorious greek landmark. Very beautiful representation of the famous inn, excellent guide, very interesting sharing of information. If you find yourself in Gravia, don't miss it!

Unfortunately we cannot have a view of the interior of the space. The tour guide refused to give us a group price for all the students and chaperones who visited the site. She was rude, unwelcoming and uncooperative. It is a shame that groups, especially schools, are treated in this way, when all they want is information and proper treatment. Pity.

A great battle for the freedom
The small tut was amazing
Even the children stayed and listen
I you’re close you should come and listen
It’s great to know history
And the location is amazing

Beautiful and realistic reconstruction of the historical inn of the early 19th century. Gentle personnel and an interesting guidance on the lowdown of the battle that took place there, on the 8th of May 1821, between few greek revolutionaries and the ottoman army. A definitely worth-visiting place!
