Friendly though a little simplistic the attempt to get to know the faces that marked our history. Exactly the gift shop. Unfortunately, besides the monument and the space that was formed for visitors, Gravias has nothing else to offer.

Απέναντι από το ανακατασκευασμένο Χάνι της Γραβιάς που μπορείτε να επισκεφθείτε, στην Κεντρική Πλατεία της Γραβιάς, έχει ανεγερθεί μνημείο προς τιμήν του Οδυσσέα Ανδρούτσου. Τα ιστορικά στοιχεία για τη Μάχη της Γραβιάς και τον ήρωά της Οδυσσέα Ανδρούτσο μπορείτε να τα βρείτε εύκολα σε βιβλία και ηλεκτρονικά κείμενα. Είναι γνωστό ότι κατηγορήθηκε άδικα ως προδότης και δολοφονήθηκε το 1825. Αργότερα, αποκαταστάθηκε το όνομά του και το 1888 πραγματοποιήθηκε η ανέγερση του μνημείου του στη Γραβιά. Στη σωστή θέση, όπου βρισκόταν το πραγματικό Χάνι της Γραβιάς το οποίο έκαψε συθέμελα ο Ομέρ Βρυώνης, βλέπει απέναντι το σημερινό μουσείο-αναπαράσταση και το όμορφο βουνό πίσω του. Αξίζει να το επισκεφθείτε!

Very beautiful village. Green, with nice houses, between mountains. It's worth a walk there. There is also a museum, which shows a representation of the events of a great battle against the Turks.

Απέναντι από το Χάνι της Γραβιάς όπου οι έλληνες πέτυχαν την πρώτη τους Νίκη κατά την επανάσταση του 1821 υπάρχει στη σχετική Πλατεία το μνημείο (Ανδριάντας) του Οδυσσέα Ανδρούτσου .Το πρότυπο της προτομής παραπέμπει στο τετράστιχο του δημοτικού τραγουδιού: «Σα βράχος είν’ οι πλάτες του, σαν κάστρο η κεφαλή του / και τα πλατειά τα στήθια του τοίχος χορταριασμένος». Κάτω από την προτομή υφίσταται κλαδί δάφνης και στη βάση του τετράστιχο επίγραμμα του Κωστή Παλαμά : «Θρέμμα του Ανδρούτσου πρέπει σου / της Δόξας το στεφάνι / ναό της Νίκης έχτισες / με της Γραβιάς το Χάνι».

Επιβλητικό το μνημείο του Οδυσσέα Ανδρούτσου! Ακριβώς αριστερά και πίσω σώζονται κάποια λιγοστά ερείπια από το πραγματικό χάνι που έγινε η ένδοξη μάχη. Φόρος τιμής στους Έλληνες που κράτησαν ζωντανό το έθνος μας!

Ο Οδυσσέας Ανδρούτσος ήταν ένας ακόμα ήρωας που έδωσε τα πάντα για την ελευθερία αυτής της χώρας από τους Τούρκους. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν να πεθάνει από Ελληνικά χέρια, να θεωρηθεί προδότης και να αποκατασταθεί το όνομα του δεκαετίες μετά.
Το μνημείο είναι πολύ όμορφο, εκεί που βρισκόταν το πραγματικό Χάνι. Ακριβώς απέναντι είναι το Χάνι μουσείο το οποίο είναι πολύ όμορφο. Στην κεντρική πλατεία της Γραβιάς, ενός πολύ Ιστορικού χωριού. Και ενός πολύ όμορφου χωριού, πραγματικά αξίζει να το επισκεφτείτε.
