This is a gorgeous building. It's worth a visit even if there's no exhibit you would want to see. The building itself is an exhibit!

Stop by old town Eureka for a view of the history of this area. Recently added is the local visitor's center that will help you orient to the area.

We visited to see a film presentation about quilt making (because the quilt show was in town) and thoroughly enjoyed the native baskets, the antique quilts and the native birds.

This museum is a delightful mixed bag of eras, from native Yurok people to near-present day. They have a room with a nice collection of Victorian era things. There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.
