It is hard to believe this bay was used for years for for industrial use. It is now clean and full of wildlife to see. Great photo opportunities. If you like to kayak it is peaceful and was not too crowded. Mostly easy parking.

Of course I think it is gorgeous; I live here. Parts of the bay have been abused by industry but all along the shore are various places to visit, eat, walk, view birds, and find solitude. Wonderful area and no crowds.

Humbolt Bay is one of the most pristine bays in California. Kayaking on the bay on a summer evening is so peaceful. You get a chance to see Seal Lions, birds, fish it’s just wonderful. It’s my favorite thing to do.

This is a wonderful beach/bay that goes on for miles and connects to the pacific ocean. We found this place by happenstance and have lived here for over 15 years.
