Kids had a great visit looking at the dozens and dozens of planes outside - from small to humongous. Inside there was a lot to look at and they most enjoyed the flight simulators that they could climb on and flick switches and pull levers....More

On a recent visit to California we drove to Travis AFB Air museum. Quite a collection of aircraft with veteran volunteers who showed us around. It is nice these museums are there to share history

Lots of volunteers and retired AF veterans to tend to the AF's largest mobility wing. this is a great center with knowledgeable staff who are willing to share their information and to learn as well. very hospitable and a great variety of aircraft and displays.
