As far as Redwood forests go, I have only been to Muir Woods and Henry Cowell, and of the two, I would have to go with the latter. Muir Woods feels like the more popular one, so morning parking fills up quickly. Also, Muir Woods...More

Enjoyed a great hike - beautiful scenery, quiet. Parking was a little tough - at least where I was. There were lots of mountain bikers around. It could be I chose the wrong location - don’t know.

Clean, peaceful, not crowded, only $10 per car. Spent equal time tree gazing and slug hunting. Found over a dozen slugs just walking the main trail. Staff was nice and helpful.

Ive never had trouble parking at this park. Many people park out on the highway so they dont have to pay for parking.
