Neat train ride pulled by old steam engine. 4 miles out and 4 miles back, thur forest areas. We were told of history of logging in this area. I saw mule deer from train. It was cool when the steam engine released steam.

The train was fun and dinner was nice outdoor bbq style with great live music. My son is a big steam train enthusiast and he was so excited that there engine was a Shay style. Good time had by all.

Beautiful scenery and super enjoyable time panning for gold with Randy. We had a 7 year old on this trip and panning for gold was his absolute favorite. Randy was super informative and fun. Our seven year old did the panning for gold twice.
