For A quick getaway, my husband and I spent the night in Folsom. Woke up in the morning had breakfast and then strolled down Sutter Street. Charming stores from antiques to chocolates!

Historic Folsom is a great place to visit and hang out. Multiple fun shops, fun places to eat, and historic sites to experience. I walked the street at least 3 times per week and see something new each tome. shop owners are very friendly.

I stayed at the nearby Lake Natoma Inn, took some time to enjoy this district and street. It is wonderfully preserved to it true period in history. Great area, good mix of businesses. Definitely worth the time to visit.

Passing through the area decided to stop for lunch, so glad we did. Nice old town history with plenty of shops to wonder in and out of. Make sure you check out the train and museum too.

On some weekends, try the farmer's market near the railroad museum. Fresh vegetables, crafts and food trucks await. Ice skating rink in the winter too!

I was just here a few weeks ago and enjoyed a nice lunch with a friend. There is plenty of parking in the area, some free, some not. Great place if you like little independent shops, etc.

I live here in Folsom and I visit the "Old Town" area, along Sutter street several times a month. There is always something new and exciting to do. They have quite a few interesting shops, great dining, group activities, family events and City sponsored festivals....More
