This is not an authentically restored historic ride but it is not a regular train either. It's something in the middle. However, you'll see a beautiful canyon, we'll be exposed to a lot of history and everyone around you - both the fellow riders and...More

This train ride through Niles Canyon is awesome! It's so festive during the holidays, as the colorfully lit train winds around each of the canyon's curves.

Though it is short journey, nature along the way is good. We went in winter, hopefully it will be much better in spring and summer. Go early to get seats with best view. Open air cars are good. Overall all cars are maintained cleanly.

Have ridden this train many times. Love the all volunteer staff. They do what they do because they have passion. This is a great outing and all the proceeds go to the preservation of the railroad.
