I have been here many times over the years, for parties, concerts, hiking, picnics and most recently for cross country. It is one of the cleanest parks in Fresno and big enough to create your own space.

Fresno is one of the most boring places I've ever visited. This perfectly acceptable but totally unexceptional park was the best thing my local friend could come up with to entertain us. Boy was I glad to get out of there!

This is a nice large park. Not much to do, except enjoy the outdoors. The Japanese garden is pretty (does cost extra though).

Wander through Woodward Regional Park on a summer day and you will find lots of shady lawns surrounded by flowers and shrubs. Even has an Asian Garden with lovely serenity and great water feature.

This is a good place to walk and bike, lots of room. If you have a dog, go to the dog park. It gets hot so go early.

The trail is a good walk with access to the river. Eastern entrance is close to Starbucks and restaurants. Parking is charged. I would have given it 4 stars if there is a playground ok the Audubon end. It seems like the part close to...More

It's $5 to get in, and while it's fairly big, it's not very green or shady. It's a hot place to walk. It's ok, but not my idea of a great park.

The Japanese Garden is fairly romantic but only open limited hours. There is is a dog park. If you both own dogs might be a good ice breaker. If she likes to hike or bike it has trails.
