This visit was a promised belated Christmas gift for our grandson. What a rewarding way to spend some time. So many friendly goats of all sizes and colors to pet and feed, and they're so friendly. Clara, our guide, was equally friendly, enthusiastic and informative. The property is a large rural area with many trees and quiet when the goats weren't 'talking'. We bought delicious cheeses and picnicked on site in the shade while watching the 'babies' sleep and frolic. A very special visit. We're all in love with the goats and hope to return.

I found this to be my favorite off the beaten path adventure this week. This is a true destination farmstand. We found it on the Cheese Trail map and navigated some true hilly terrain after crossing the north fork of the American River. Charlie Cornell, a sweet gentleman owns and runs the farm, milks the goats and produces cheese and goat milk soaps and lotions with his wife. Friendly farm dogs greet you. We watched milking, interacted with goats and fed milked goats with their favorite treat—walnut hulls. The shop is very small. Entry is graced with beautiful flowers. You will lose WiFi so have a good map available. We found it to be a simple but sweet trip. And of course, we left with four types of dial, garlic dill goat cheese, jalapeño goat cheese and feta cheese.

Visited in April to see the new-born kids. Love the soap and lotions. And we never miss this cheese - best ever.

You can find their cheese at several locations and farmer's markets. Sometimes the farm is open to the public which is fun because you can see the happy goats and learn about how goat cheese is made. Very friendly proprietor who can answer your questions. I can't pick a favorite, but I never fail to pick up cranberry chevré when I am there.

Baby goats, friendly people and cheese this is one for the memory books FOR SURE!! We have had this bookmarked visit previously with time and a pandemic that got in the way of our farm adventure. BOY did this check all the boxes!!

Directions were a breeze for us as we drove through the peaceful hillside, arriving to the Jollity Farm. We watched the baby goats in their pen play and frolic around as this was delightful to take in before our scheduled time to bottle feed them.

Then we gathered in the barn area with a few of the baby goats with MaryLisa being beyond gracious, welcoming and friendly. She answered everyone's questions and took her time with us. We bottle fed several of the cute baby goats that were just a few weeks old and learned about the farm, the process of how they make their yummilicious cheese, other products and running their farm.

We enjoyed our visit immensely and was sure to visit the onsite farmstand to purchase cheese, lotion and a few other souvenir items.

My wife and I like to take adventures in and around Sacramento, and I planned a day filled with breakfast, goat cheese and wine. This place is right off the road, but our GPS got us lost at first. When we found it and pulled in, it is so quaint and welcoming - the owners two dogs came up and looked for petting immediately. The goats just had kids, so the wife was excited to spend time with the baby's goats and the dogs, but the wife who runs the farm came out and showed us the tiny shed they use to sell their myriad of cheeses, lotions and soaps. We purchased some of each, made on e last round with the goats and we were on our way - about 45 mins in total. A great time that should be visited by anyone around Sacramento county- a great time with marvelous cheese! With the winery nearby (and Georgetown not far away - another great, simple time), this is highly recommended day trip all around.
