We had a greaat time here at RYW. The staff was awesome, very helpful, with some good education time and certainly solid knowledge. They took us into the cave for a tour and finished with us signing up for a membership. All fo the wines and not one bad one in the bunch. Everyone loved EVERY wine poured. That did... More

This little winery provides the best grapes to some of the most well known wineries In the area. However when they decided to make their own wine from their grapes they produced a wonderful Chardonay and Malbec . One has to go off the beaten track to find it but well worth the ride and the scenery. The person working... More

Full range of Sauve Blanc thru Cabs. Jeff our guide at RY was an educator and trusted advisor delivering a truly memorable experience. Lovely no stress romp thru the wine spectrum. Can't wait to come back.

We were there promptly upon the 10a opening. Nice winery, pretty grounds with vineyard surrounding it. Very small tasting room, pleasant and informative staff who were happy to provide references to other vineyards in the area based on our likes/dislikes. Acceptable wines although their signature cabernet was pricey ($65). Quick visit but a pleasant experience overall.

Have enjoyed this wine for years. Modest tasting bar. Most of their fruit goes to Chateau St Jean. Worth a stop.

We stopped here specifically because a friend told us they had great red wines, we drove up to a cute looking property to learn, after we had already started to taste that they are out of reds and won't release any for another 18 months! It was a very sad experience, as well as we think the tasting room attendant... More

Thanks for taking the time to come by our tasting room and also follow up with a review. We pride ourselves on maintaining boutique production levels here, and from time to time, we do sell out of our wines. We are currently offering an excellent Petit Verdot in addition to our chardonnays, and we do apologize if you were disappointed... More

The wines here are good - our personal favorite is their estate reds (cabernet sauvignon and cab franc). This is a pretty winery and interesting place to visit. We usually buy some wine when we visit.

This winery is off the beaten path but a lovely drive to get to it. And it is worth it. Small tasting room but fantastic white wine. One of our favorites! Friendly tasting staff and always nice clientele there tasting. Great history here. Worth the drive and time.

We were introduced to this lovely winery last year by Gene of Healdsburg Area WInery Tours. It's a place that sources grapes to well-known wineries like Chateau St. Jean. They also keep a very small amount of the best-quality grapes for themselves and make great wine out of it. Some people really love their chards but our favorites are the... More

The Robert Young Winery is a bit off the beaten path for those tasting in the Alexander Valley region of Sonoma County. But if you love great Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot served in an intimate, friendly tasting room where you won't be elbow to elbow with dozens of other guests -- it's worth a small extra drive, not really...
