My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Jack London State Park. The self guided tour of the grounds was a great value for a $10 cash entrance fee, and the house of happy walls provided the history of Jack London's fascinating life.

Well kept park with great story of Jack London. The docent at the cottage was knowledgeable and vivid. The cottage itself is very nicely kept. It felt as if we had come 120 years back in time.

There really are two tours? The house that was built after Jack London's death and the dream house that burned down, then there is the house that they lived in and this is a separate area. If you bring a picnic lunch you... More

Yes. From what I understand, dogs are allowed on leash on the wolf house and beauty ranch trails. We did see horse tracks there as well just fyi if your dog is used to them or not. It's beautiful!!! Have fun!!
