We visited this garden 2 days ago and found it very disappointing. With talk of all the Asian plants, I had visions of at least a section of manicured shrubs and flowers. Instead, everything looked over-grown and neglected even at the Lilly pond. The whole garden was more like a walk through the woods. I would recommend a visit to... More

Quarryhill offers a unique opportunity to view Asian plants in a natural park-like setting. Many are endangered in their native habitat. The,self-guided tour lets you design your own route through the garden on well maintained gravel paths. Carts are available for those who have difficulty walking. We thoroughly enjoyed a 90 minute leisurely walk. Probably wouldn't have been so enjoyable... More

For 2 people to walk through a nice park was $24. No AAA discount available. We thought that this is just too much. Water fountains, port a potty & gift shop available.

What a find. We never knew this place existed until this year, but now that we know we will be back. Beautiful plantings and as much information and detail as you could want. What a beautiful place. Even if you just want to admire the beauty this is a great place for a self guided tour. There are some hills... More

We went there on a Monday at 12 noon. The website said it would be open. The sign at the entrance said we had to register at the Visitor Center. The Visitor Center had a sign that said OPEN. But the doors were locked, the lights were off, and no one was there. So we left. Conclusion: We had traveled... More

We drove almost 2 hrs just to see this hidden gem in sonoma valley and it's worth it because it's still beautiful even without the blooms! Can't wait to come back in spring!:)

We went in January, so most plants are dormant, so not much to see in terms of plants. They have decent hiking trails. They can provide a golf cart ride to and from the arbor for people who have difficulty walking uphill. The rest of the trail is not too steep and fairly level. We will be back at another... More

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon experiencing easy walking and observing all the unusual trees and plants from Asia. Very nice gift shop.

We drove to the Quarryhill Botanical Garden from Healdsburg. This is a bit of a drive as it is a some distance from Hwy 101. The gift shop was fairly interesting with some unusual things we found for Christmas presents. The gardens themselves left something to be desired. You walk from the gift shop/parking lot up a hill into the... More

we visited in mid November. Very few blooming but plenty of shrubs & trees with beautiful berries in incredible colors! we took the docent tour in a golf cart ( worth the extra few dollars) to see the whole garden and get the history and to be able to ask questions about the plants. Very knowledgeable docent, so enthusiastic! I... More
