More
We are a small family owned winery located in the heart of the Sonoma Valley. We believe that single vineyard wines make for the most interesting and satisifying drinking! Since the early 1990's we've constantly looked for those vineyards that provide a great match between terroir and varietal. The result is an array of small batch, single-vineyard wines that meet our criteria. Whether the vineyard is in Sonoma or Napa, or our own estate, our pledge to you is that we will produce a collection of wines that are always interesting, always compelling and always delicious. Making over 20 varitals of wine there is always something you can find that fits your taste here at Mayo!

We stopped in here after visiting the Jack London Home. It’s a fun family owned winery. They were busy with a lot of visitors for the taste of Sonoma event that weekend. We tasted in the tasting room and in the barrel room. The girls...More

We stopped on a whim. My wife and I shared a tasting. Cute little place; nice little patio off the back where you could enjoy a glass of wine if you wanted. None of the wines were particularly memorable. The gal behind the counter was...More

This small family owned winery is off the main road and is in a cozy house turned into a tasting room and real estate office upstairs. Leading the way is Chef John Locher and his staff that put out an amazing food and pairing feast...More

We just randomly stopped at this winery on our way to Sonoma. Of all the wineries we visited, this wine was one I remembered. I do not drink zins typically but after letting this breathe, I thought it was special and purchased a bottle of...More

I do not consider myself a wine expert, but the Mayo Winery only produces a limited amount of wine per year. So in the spirit of suporting any small business, Mayo Family Winery is worth the trip to Napa/Sanoma.

Fabulous service, spent easily over an hour with the staff late in the day and they made us feel so welcome the whole time. They were friendly and never pretentious; honestly felt like family. I love that they are open until 6:30, so when we...More

This Winery has it all! A LOT of great wines (best Zin in the region), exceptional hospitality, fantastic tasting room with a food pairing to die for (thanks, Chef John Locher!), and an all-around "over-the-top" experience! Thanks Jeff, Courtney, and the whole Mayo family!

It's a steal for 9 tastings at $15, but none of the pours were particularly good. There's a nice outdoor space that's well shaded. The drawbacks: while dogs are welcomed in this establishment, it was awfully chaotic as big and little dogs ran around off...More

We stopped by for a tasting on our way to Sonoma lured in by the yellow vintage pickup. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the wines were good.
