We've been members of The Center for the Arts for more almost ten years. It is one of the things we point to when telling others what a great community Grass Valley is. Always something different and fun to see! (You'd be surprised how many "big name" entertainers play there.)

Each concert is small, personal, you meet the artists, the prices are so reasonable, drinks and snacks are available. The atmosphere is friendly, supportive, and save!

Nice atmosphere, well run, good acoustics. People in charge are really helpful. They had a problem with the sound system with they dealt with very professionally and work it out with reasonable time and treated the performers well during the transition.

Small venue on Main st. Holds 300 people, not a bad seat in the house. They also have art shows, dinners, plays, all top notch

The Center is a jewel of the region. This month, we saw Pink Martini with Storm Large. Next month we see a creative jazz group, Protocol, and the Cowboy Junkies. There is usually something happening several times a week. We have been traveling 9 months out of the year since 2009 and the Center helps make Grass Valley/Nevada City a... More

This venue always has fantastic talent performing....varied genres and styles make this Center for the Arts unique. The tiered seating and great acoustics make this venue a place with no bad seats. For such a small community we have such a huge draw of great performances!

The center for the arts here in Grass Valley is exceptionally fun for all ages. Whether you live in Nevada County or want to join us from Sacramento Metro area (just an hour down the hill) you will not be sorry you made the drive. There is always something fun happening. Hula shows in the summer that are better than... More
