Played here in September and have to rate it as one of the top courses I've ever played. Played the Ocean course and wasn't disappointed at all. Spectacular views in all directions, not to mention course is amazing. Was lucky to avoid crazy wind. Spendy but well worth it, would definitely play again.

Having grown up in HMB, I have played HMB Golf Links dozens of times, mostly on the Old Course where I learned to play, but a few times on the Ocean Course. It has gotten more expensive over the years, but for what and where it is that is understandable. Usually. But not yesterday. As I hope my pictures here... More

Great Golf course nestled in a neighborhood right by the Pacific Ocean. Nice layout and I would call it a players course as the tee shots can favor a draw one hole and then a fade the next. definitely want to stay out of the trees as then it is just a punch back to the fairway but very fair... Ok, so it's the Ritz. So it's not cheap. End of July with a high of 62F... I'd recommend playing at noon or after to save $60-$70 on fees and let some of the fog burn off (although can't predict fog patterns always). Great layout. Beautiful scenery. The course isn't as 'finely manicured' as say, the Ritz Carlton course in... More

Wow. This golf course would be great if located inland and away from any water – the layout is interesting, rolling, and challenging with very fast greens to finish. Then add the Pacific Ocean as a back and side drop to many holes and you have an experience not to be missed. The links style course plays well to a... More

I played the old course. I arrived some 20 minutes late due to Gay Pride traffic in SF, but the staff and starter were highly accommodating. My original partners for my tee time were not - complete ar$es, and very rude (Only experienced people this rude in New York) but another pair invited me to tag along and they were... More

The course is fun and well tended. It was fun to golf overlooking the ocean on the Old Course. When we finished we were treated to a bagpipe player while the sun set. Visited June 14th. On the bad side, don't go in the high grass to look for your ball or you will be covered in ticks. The staff... More

I would play the Old Course again just to play the spectacular 18th hole once more! There is a gallery of people in the seating area of the Ritz Carlton just watching as the golfers come down the fairway onto the 18th green. It's so much fun! The layout of this course is beautiful. The course is challenging, but most... More

I had the opportunity to play the ocean course which is wide open and exposed to the winds especially the back 9. The course is well manicured and each hole provides a new challenge. Whether it be the carry over the heather or water or just keeping the ball in play it truly was challenging and rewarding. As a beginner... More

Played the Ocean Course twice and the Old Course once. The Ocean course is wide open and exposed to the winds. Classics links style golf. Very fast greens that roll beautifully. Got a caddie (Will Price) as a special treat for my wife. She was skeptical at first but had the best golf day of her life. He has local... More
