It was a good hike at Garin. The park is big and good for picnics. The parking is paid but nod bad. Would recommend for anyone who wants to take a hike or play specific sports games at the bottom near the parking area.

From a pretty pond, to wind-blown ridges, woods, hils and picnic grounds this place has something for everyone. No admission charge during the week. Trails vary from very steep to flat. A few creeks run through the lower parts, some low during the summer.
This regional park is located on the hillside above Hayward. The park has plenty of parking and nice restrooms. There are hiking trails and large fields. Several sites offer BBQs and picnic tables for families and groups.
