My father and I visited this winery on a rainy day. Surprisingly it was not busy and got a really good experience from Steve who was the pourer. Learned about the "20/20" rule. Dry wines tasted really well but the sweet wines try to avoid...More

Hadn't been here for years but had family in town and decided to take them tasting to Simi. What a GREAT idea. The tasting room guy was spectacular. Very low key, super nice and knowledgable. Answered all our questions and guided us expertly through the...More

Just finished tour of the winery. Very interesting and beautiful old architecture. The guide was very knowledgeable and made for a good tour. It was enjoyable (and educational) seeing all the process that goes into making wine. Well worth the time and the tour fee...More

This is a pretty Winery, with some good wines. But wines definitely a little overpriced. And this was the one of the trip that felt the pushiest about joining their wine club. But it's pretty and close to downtown. The Sonoma area is open and...More

With the amount they pour in your glass it's not possible to do a proper tasting! You can't tell if a wine is good if you only have a ridiculous sip, so I would recommed other wineries which are more generous

The winery tour is very nice, as are the grounds, and the history that goes with the tour. They have some great white wines, but their limited distribution Petite Syrah is very nice, as is their Cabernet. Very nicely planted grounds--and super clean.
