About
When it comes down to it, Breathless Wines is a family affair, built by the love of three sisters, Sharon, Rebecca, and Cynthia, and the passion for life that their mother passed down to them. The sisters, along with Breathless Winemaker Penny Gadd-Coster, are dedicated to sparkling winemaking in the traditional method, creating refreshing sparkling wines that pair well with life’s special moments. Breathless Sparkling Wines are hand-crafted from select Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes using the traditional French method, méthode champenoise, guided by the expert winemaking hand of Penny Gadd-Coster. Penny, recently named “Winemaker of the Year” by the North Bay Business Journal, is a renowned winemaker with 35 years of experience in sparkling winemaking. The path to happiness and a sense of well-being resides in the simple act of savoring the little things, like a baby’s laugh; a loved-one’s smile; a fire softly burning; or warm bread, just out of the oven. Or even enjoying a glass of bubbles with a long-missed friend. The woman on our label is a tribute to our Mother, Martha, and all the men and women who teach and remind us to take each breath we are given as a gift to be cherished.

Nice winery specializing in sparkling wines. Tasting is in a patio area which is nice. This tasting room is in town, so you do not taste among the vineyards. They poured about six wines, which were all very good. It takes buying four bottles or joining their club to waive the tasting fee, which I think was around $25. Their wines are around $30 per bottle. About 1.5 hours. I would make a reservation. You can bring your own food.

Thank you for visiting us in Healdsburg! We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the wines and the patio. Come back and saber a bottle with us and enjoy with your friends or we are now opening up the production area for a tour of the sparkling facility-it is so facinating to watch the robots put together the dosage, cork and dress up the bottle on it's way to enjoy!

A little off the beaten path and more of a warehouse district. Winery features sparkling wines they were actually very very good. Love the brute to start and the final dessert wine was spectacular. Reservations are required they went over and above for us including having a little nameplate for us when we arrived

What a beautiful experience on a rainy day in January. The room was inviting by our hostess Irena who greeted us with a warm smile. Not to mention an amazing amount of knowledge about the sparkling wine. The next amazing surprise was the artisan hand crafted jewelry followed by our ending treat of the sparkling moscato wine. Truly not something to miss. Not to mention that they are award winning.

I visited in early August. The wine was average but cheap so no harm in buying a bit. I was worried about the summer Texas heat so I requested to not ship until September. A few days later I received tracking info. I emailed and they told me not to worry they were not sending yet.
They did send it (to the wrong address on top of that). I requested to cancel and a refund. They screwed up like five different ways and refuse to give a full refund.
I won't be back and I don't suggest anyone buy their wine.

Thank you for coming to visit. We are sorry for the mix up in commuication for the timing of having your wines shipped. For our team, it is a very rare occurence and we are very sorry you were on the other end of this mistake. We are happy you were double refunded for all the wines by Breathless and the your credit card company and all shipping as well. As it should be! We definately use this example for our training in how important clear communication is for the highest customer satisfaction we aspire to on a daily basis.

Very pleasant tasting room. Very relaxed. They said by reservation but seated us anyway. The staff was friendly. The wine was good. My wife & I split two different tasting flights and took a few bottles away with us. The tastings are done on the patio. The building is two repurposed shipping containers. Would recommend.

We went to Breathless for the first time during Valentine's. We were kindly welcomed with a rose and a glass of brut, and then taken to our table in this beautiful outdoor patio. The sisters running the place keep the tasting room immaculate and they are also very knowledgeable and passionate about their wines. We love the Brut and the dessert wine at the end (we got heart shaped cupcakes to go with it!). We will definitely go back!

We came for a tasting at Breathless on a weekend and it was during the tasting Roxanne informed us our the tours they do of the Rack and Riddle facility during week days. Since traveling from the east coast we scheduled a tour before leaving town and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! My husband is an engineer and he very much enjoyed seeing all the machines/robots do their thing. Highly recommend if your into technology and seeing how things are made. We also very much enjoyed the bubbles we tasted!
Side note...there was a slight technical glitch around our tour reservation, however Aaron went out of his way to accommodate us. We very much appreciated the excellent hospitality. Can't wait to visit again next time we are in town.

On the recommendation of a co-worker, we went to Breathless Sparkling Wines in Healdsburg, CA. Located in an industrial area of town, once you enter the site you forget that and enjoy indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is friendly, informative of their product and attentive. We (3) each ordered a different sparkling wine to compare. All were terrific.

This is a favorite stop for me and I enjoy introducing others to this great find. My friends are always impressed and return. The sparkling wines are great and reasonably priced. That would be enough. Beyond that is the great service; how cordial the staff is and the way the business is run.
On this last visit, I ordered a cheese and charcuterie plate. It was provided by a local business. Everything was exceptional and the presentation was lovely.
Time and time again, Breathless offers a memorable experience.

Was there with a few friends- sat in their gazebo area to share a few bottles of bubbles. Really quaint experience. Staff was super nice and the sparkling was really tasty!

Is there food available or can we bring food onto the premises?

Hi! P{lease feel free to bring food..we pair our bubbles with potato chips but the city restricts the food....although stay tuned for our wood oven unveiling soon! Think pizza and bubbles!
