Tucked into the hills of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, Jordan Vineyard & Winery welcomes guests by appointment for four unique tours and tastings. From perennial gourmet wine tastings with food pairing in our cellar room and walking tours through our iconic chateau, to epicurean excursions across our scenic property and festive holiday celebrations offered seasonally, there is something for everyone to enjoy. All tours include both walking and seated tastings, each featuring seasonal tastes from the Jordan chef paired with vintages of Jordan Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Jordan's Estate Tour & Tasting also includes driving. Advance reservations are required due to the intimacy of tastings. Inspired by the timeless elegance of French wine and food, Tom and Sally Jordan founded Jordan Vineyard & Winery in 1972. Their vision was to create a wine estate that produced food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay to rival the finest in France--and to capture the essence of gracious hospitality. Today their son, John, builds upon their legacy. Jordan Winery is first-class, from the wine tastings, to the tours, and not to forget the mouth-watering views. They only specialize in two varietals; Cabernet and Chardonnay. In my opinion, they have perfected them too. Their property is spectacular and their wine makers are among...More

It was raging hard and we still wanted to visit Jordon winery for a tasting. We were the only people there so Rennie took us upstairs to the first tasting room. She did a great job explaining how the Jordon's came from Europe and started...More

My husband had heard from his boss how great the Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon was, and had tried it on a couple of occasions, so we decided to make a reservation for a library tasting. We were not disappointed. We were greeted in the lobby by...More

A large group of us did the Winery Tour & Library Tasting, and it was well worth the $40/person charge! Many wineries are now charging a large fee just for a group to do a tasting, but this experience was so much more. The Jordan...More

With all of the wineries in the area, Jordan is a real stand out for their absolutely stunning facility, staff that goes above and beyond to give you a personal, memorable experience, and selection of truly lovely wines.

The wines are good (I won't say they are exceptional, but certainly worth a taste), but it's the setting that is compelling. Absolutely gorgeous. And we had a lovely tasting and perfect food presentation (cheese and crackers/bread). Be sure to bring your camera!

A visit to Jordan is an experience and one we enjoyed. Reservations are required as each tour and tasting is limited to a small number of people and is conducted by a tour guide along with food to complement the wine. We reserved the library...More

The excellence of the wines was only enhanced by the gorgeous setting. We had scheduled to be on the three hour tour of the estate, but received a call the day before alerting us that rain was predicted and that it could cause our tour...More

Correct. Tours & tastings require advance reservations, but the lobby is open during regular business hours, and guests are welcome to walk around the grounds and over by the rock wall vista.
