Came here on our Segway tour. This winery is over 100 years old, I believe the oldest family owned winery in the area. We sat outside on picnic benches for our tasting. The woman gave us information about each wine and about the winery. Enjoyable...More

We've loved this wine for years, so it was great to go to the vineyard. They offer 2 levels of tasting: one with their reserve speciality wines and the other their readily available wines. The hostess was knowledgeable and personable. They offer a wine club...More

When my sister and I planned our trip to California, our forray into wine country would focus on small, preferably family-owned wineries. We nailed it with this one. Jonathon was our host and provided a wonderful wine-tasting experience that involved some history about the vineyard,...More

My brother-in-law really wanted to visit Foppiano during our trip to the Sonoma Valley. He was familiar with their wines and he wanted to see where they are made ... and to try some. But it was a disappointing visit, even considering that he was...More

During our trip to Healdsburg, we almost didn't go to Foppiano because we were giving preference to smaller wineries. I'm so glad we did. Foppiano had our favorite wines of the weekend, AND the lowest prices, making it by far the best value. Their grounds...More

As opposed to the massive wineries surrounding it, Foppiano's has a very small tasting room but that's just right. Their wine is very good and not easy to find, so stop in here and enjoy it while you can.
