From Maryland on a yearly trip, out for wine tastings off the beaten path. Another vineyard recommend Hawkes for bold reds. We weren’t disappointed. Cheryl greeted us and had us sample some of the best single vineyard cabs of our trip so far. Even joined...More

We love Hawkes! Their wine is outstanding and the staff is always fun. If you like big bold reds this is the winery for you. Taste inside or relax on the patio and have the wine brought to you. Not your over pretentious tasting room,...More

Our visit with friends was delightful! We sat on the picnic benches outside after tasting. The favorite was the Cabernet. It was outstanding! On our travels, looking back, Hawkes was one of our very favorites, without question!
Delicious cabs with a super friendly tasting room. We sat at a picnic table out front and enjoyed the beautiful weather and great wine. Everyone made us feel super welcome and relaxed. Recommend this for anyone into cabernets. Not touristy - all about the wine.
Was our final stop touring Sonoma
