Rafanelli used to be one of our faves. In recent years the price/value ratio has diminished. They still make top flight cabs etc but better deals are to be found. plus major hassles to just get in to taste.

As an annual visitor and long time buyer of Rafanelli wines, I have experienced both the best of times and the worst of times noted by other reviewers. Fortunately, almost all of my visits have been in the former category. Wines, all reds, are all...More

Appointment only, but if you have the chance to either meet Dave the owner or his daughter the winemaker, it will be a worthwhile trip. The wines are very good, as they only make a merlot, a zin and a cabernet sauvignon, but they are...More

We visited 18 wineries on our trip, and this was our favorite one. The setting was magical, the people were so friendly, and their dog welcomes everyone!
