Limerick Lane Cellars is a 53-acre estate located in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley. In an appellation that’s renowned for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, we grow and produce world-class Zinfandel and Rhone blends. Overall a very good tasting. Limerick Lane focuses mostly on Zins and Syrahs, and has Zin/Syrah blends. The tasting's wine educator was great. Informative as we went through our tasting, as well as the time we spent in the vineyards. Due to construction, parking was confusing, was the biggest complaint we had.

If you are serious about tasting great wines artfully crafted from old vines, then make an appointment and visit this winery. Big, bold, fruit with polish and finesse. This is not for everyone, but the serious wine drinker will be happy they spent the afternoon here. The oldest vines are 110 years old and still producing amazing fruit crafted into luciousness by Chris. This is great wine and worth the effort-make an appointment and enjoy!

On our trip to Healdsburg and Napa, Limerick Lane Cellars stood out as one of our favorite wineries by far. We did a tasting for the Sonoma Food and Wine event and they kept the (delicious) apps coming and the wine tables flowing. A highlight was when a bartender was refilling my glass and instead of rinsing it with water, she literally rinsed it with wine to not water down the wine. Such a beautiful vineyard with top tier service! I definitely hope to return :)

We already love the wine, and now after visiting and doing a tour and tasting we appreciate the full history and challenge of bringing great wine to market. Our guide was knowledgeable, fun and full of stories of the history of the vineyard. And getting out to see the vines was great. It's a small, scrappy group producing delicious wines. Worth your time to visit and try!

We stopped here on a hot sunny afternoon in August. It was our last stop of three days in the Napa/Sonoma Valley. Fortunately, for us as it turned out, we had saved the best for last. We had done tastings at a few of the bigger named wineries and paid more money for them but the one thing they all lacked was the personal touch. Here, we were greeted by a young man at the bar who welcomed us with a warm, funny conversation and then went and got us our tour guide, Andy. Andy was fun to walk with and we shared many tales of wine adventures. He took us through the winery where we met two others who were busy doing their daily chores. They were all pleasant and very knowledgeable of their surroundings. It was fun to finally see where the wines were made and to be able to talk to the people who do the harvesting of the grapes and the testing of the wines . We also went out back and saw the over 100 year old vines. The many zinfandels (their specialties) we tasted were simply delicious as were a couple of their special varieties. It was a slow day so Andy had more time to spend with us and my wife and I really enjoyed the whole experience.

I like Zinfandels and so was interested in tasting at this winery. We were received in such a friendly manner. Wine of glass as soon as we arrived. Then we walked out into the vineyards to a private spot in such an amazing setting. Bucolic! Andy Tester helped us out. The wines were so amazing and the tasting was personal and engaging. He really cared and was interested. I wish we could have afforded to buy a case, but in time! Go and visit this gem.

It is best to make reservation to visit the winery’s tasting room. The staff is friendly and the wines are interesting. Interesting blends with some very old vines. Intimate and knowledgeable staff made the visit worth your time.

Of the 7 wineries we visited during our trip to the Russian River Valley, Limerick Lane stood above many of the more well known wineries in the area for delivering the best wine. If you love Zinfandels and are a fan of having an authentic working winery experience then you need to make Limerick Lanes a “must” on your visit list.

Oh, how we loved this place! After spending a week in Sonoma County, this was an unplanned, last minute stop. And it was the winery highlight of our week! Yes, great wine, but the stories and history, the struggles and heartache is straight out of a Netflix series!

Our first, but not last, visit to Limerick Lane Cellars. Our host in th tasting room was Andy - very knowledgeable and gracious. Limerick Lane wines are amazing! Beautiful Rose, rich Zinfandel and their Syrah is outstanding. Get on their list!
