About
Limerick Lane Cellars is a 30-acre estate located in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley. In an appellation that’s renowned for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, we grow and produce world class Zinfandel and Rhone-blends. The goal with each vintage is to clearly express the interplay between this extraordinary site and the seasons… and to share it in a laid back fashion that stays true to who we are.

What an amazing place experience
Jul. 2020 • Couples
I like Zinfandels and so was interested in tasting at this winery. We were received in such a friendly manner. Wine of glass as soon as we arrived. Then we walked out into the vineyards to a private spot in such an amazing setting. Bucolic! Andy Tester helped us out. The wines were so amazing and the tasting was personal and engaging. He really cared and was interested. I wish we could have afforded to buy a case, but in time! Go and visit this gem.

Good wine, and a good tasting
Feb. 2020
Overall a very good tasting. Limerick Lane focuses mostly on Zins and Syrahs, and has Zin/Syrah blends. The tasting's wine educator was great. Informative as we went through our tasting, as well as the time we spent in the vineyards. Due to construction, parking was confusing, was the biggest complaint we had.

Great Visit
Jun. 2019 • Couples
It is best to make reservation to visit the winery’s tasting room. The staff is friendly and the wines are interesting. Interesting blends with some very old vines. Intimate and knowledgeable staff made the visit worth your time.

Great wine, disappointing service
Aug. 2019 • Couples
This was our fourth visit to Limerick Lane. We keep coming back because the wine is outstanding and, until this trip, we’ve had a great experience in the tasting room. We had an 11 am appointment, showed up on time, and were greeted warmly by our hostess. We sat in the chairs due to my husband’s parents not being able to stand for long periods. The wine was still excellent (we’ve been buying their wine ever since our first visit) but a group of two came in shortly after we started tasting. Our hostess basically ignored us from that point forward and spent all of her time chatting with this walk-in couple. This was irritating since we had an appointment...I suppose the appointments are necessary to avoid this exact situation. We will probably not be back.

MJ, Thank you for visiting and, more importantly, for offering valuable feedback. I certainly apologize that our service fell short. You are indeed correct- the reason for our appointment only service is to allow our small staff to dedicate their time to folks who took their time to drive down our little road specifically to see us. Please accept my apologies and we hope that you will give us another opportunity.

Our first, but not last, visit to Limerick Lane Cellars. Our host in th tasting room was Andy - very knowledgeable and gracious. Limerick Lane wines are amazing! Beautiful Rose, rich Zinfandel and their Syrah is outstanding. Get on their list!

Great Zinfandels
Aug. 2018 • Couples
This was a great way to kick off a few days of wine tasting in Sonoma County. It's a small family owned winery down a quiet, scenic back road. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The wines are sold through a mailing list allocation. Our initial tasting was of the Syrah Grenache, Rocky Knoll Zinfandel, Russian River Zinfandel and Hail Mary. All were great and we bought two bottles of each and signed up to be on the mailing list. We walked through the vines and tasted grapes from vines that were 100+ years old. We got to try two wines that haven't been released yet - 1910 Block Zinfandel and 1023 Zinfandel. Both were great and I hope to be able to buy some when it's available. If you're a fan of Zinfandel this is well worth a stop. Appointment only, so be sure to make one.

Excellent Wine and Tasting
Aug. 2018 • Friends
We made an appointment to visit and taste at Limerick Lane. The wines are excellent and highly rated. We took a glass of wine and walked into the vineyards to understand more about the estate and wines. We were lucky to meet Jake, one of the owners, and their new wine maker. This is a nice way to taste some excellent wine and see a beautiful family owned winery.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE
Jun. 2018 • Couples
Stopped by this small family winery as we were in the neighborhood. Even though the sign outside said, "Tastings by Appointment" we thought we'd give it a try as there was only one other car in the parking area. We were greeted by, Dan and he said there would be no problem to do a tasting but appointments are usually recommended as there are only a few employees there and the tasting room is small. Excellent group of wines and when we got to the 1910, Dan suggested we step outside and go into the 1910 vineyard which is directly behind the winery. Originally planted in 1910, the vines are twisted and gnarly and obviously produce an exceptional wine. Our favorite was the Rocky Knoll Zinfandel, again produced from a single vineyard at the edge of the property. Dan was most gracious in explaining all the hard work which goes into making world class wines, and if you have never tasted a Limerick Lane, do yourself a favor and buy a bottle to try. I'm assured that you will not find all of their wines distributed to where you live, but all the more reason to come to the winery and pick up your favorites.

Excellent Wine
May 2018 • Couples
This is a small family winery that doesn't have big case production, but the wines are exceptional. Make an appointment, because the tasting room is small. Great Zinfandels and Zinfandel blends. Very nice rose of syrah as well. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. You will definitely be impressed with the wine.

Fantastic
Mar. 2018 • Couples
We visited thanks to a wine enthusiast article and had a fantastic time. It's a small, friendly winery with great wines and a lovely property. If you're looking for something off the beaten path this may be right up your alley. The 1910 block zin is especially delicious.
