We enjoyed a short stroll on the pier, but cut it short because it was so windy. It was fun seeing all the surfers, but being a southern gal, felt the Pacific Ocean water was unbelievably cold to be in.
Huntington Beach Pier is perfect vantage point to watch surfers, enjoy the wonder of the ocean and spy a sea lion or two. Having some shops and a diner at the end of its clean, wide berth is a wonderful perk.
A must visit when in Huntington Beach. Whether it be in summer or winter anytime is the right time to "walk the pier". Would be best if there were good size waves breaking to watch the surfing. Even if there aren't any waves which is...More
The pier at Huntington Beach is not only beautiful. It's also a great place for taking in a California Sunset, for fishing or for people watching. Weekdays aren't as crowded as it gets here on weekends.
