I only stay about 45 minutes away from Huntington Beach State Park but it feels like an eternity. Like many other working folks we toil in Los Angeles to make it month to month. So whenever I get an Uber passenger who’s destination is Huntington...More

If you like a quiet, friendly beach this is where you want to come. They have an area for overnight camping for motor homes, but you better make your reservation way ahead of time.

this is the spot for going to beach with the kids. It is way more mellow than city beaches and not as much drama and idiots.

There are quite a few surf shop rental places in the area of HB as well as Newport Beach. If you are parking near either of these beaches, you'd find beach rentals in walking distance.
