Great way to get some exercise and breathe in fresh sea air. Fun to watch the variety of people fishing and if you need beverages or snacks there is a simple cafe at the end. Beach along this area is flat and fairly wide—-seems to...More

The local media has covered this catastrophe, a huge huge raw sewage spill from their TJ Mx neighbours to the south. Apparently a contractor or individual broke the main pipe and it flowed from the TJ river directly into the ocean, which currents carry it...More

In town for a quick weekend trip, and enjoyed the sights, sounds, and smells at the ocean. We were there on a Saturday, and the place didn’t get crazy like some of the more well-known beaches. Certainly worth a try if you’re looking for a...More

Pier is busy with local fisherman....fun location to watch the Surfers. Worth the walk out to check it out. A restaurant sits at the end of pier, but it was closed...so I'm guessing its only certain days of the week.

Nice place with relaxing atmosphere. Apparently good for surfing. We enjoyed watching the surfers trying to catch the waves. As we visited a weekday the place was quiet. There is a small playground close to the pier, for the younger children. Coffeeshop menar the pier...More

Folks fishing, walking, kids playing, locals playing guitar...stroll along the pier at sunrise, sunset or any time and listen to the surf roll in. It's well kept and a nice walk when in town.

The IB pier is very well maintained. There is a fish and chips stand at the end and lots of fisherman along the way. There are a couple of shops at the park where the pier starts.

Nothing fancy here - just a simple pier with a long dock to walk. Great to walk - and great ice cream near by!!

Not much to do. Pier is relatively small and a lot of local fishing there. Not too much restaurants around the pier area either. Wish there's more shops around.

This is a nice beach area with some shopping and restaurants nearby. The Tin Fish restaurant at the end of the pier offers some tasty fish and chip options. Nice to see families fishing off the pier and enjoying the beach

We had a great time relaxing at the beach as it was not too crowded. Imperial Beach is a throwback to years gone by. There are great restaurants in easy walking distance. There is a farmers market said up on the beach here on Friday...More
