Loved the Imperial Beach area! The beaches were very nice and they even had a dog beach which was wonderful! Loved walking out on the pier day and night! Just beautiful!

This is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon. It's a classic Southern California wooden fishing pier, located right in the heart of Imperial Beach. Unlike some of the other piers in the area, like at Ocean Beach, it's not overcrowded, even on a...More

The pier is wide so even when very crowded there is plenty of room. There are fisherman on the pier and you can see surfers from the pier. It is also an amazing place to watch the sunset.

Large waves and watching the surfers. View to downtown San Diego and Coronado Island. The beach has playgrounds, picnic areas (table and grills), basketball court. There are lots of places to eat. Plenty of areas to enjoy the sun and beach.

Took a nice walk to the end and saw lots of people catching lots of fish. Too bad the restaurant at the end isn't nicer, would be a great place to dine but we didn't want fried food.

Great way to enjoy the ocean without getting wet. Enjoy the view from Playas de Tijuana to Coronado Islands to Point Loma.

We stayed across the street from Imperial Beach Pier while in SD. The sunset views were phenomenal and the beaches were clean. Very family friendly, with lots of running room!

Unbearable no.... mildly uncomfortable sometimes. Open a window & it's usually fine... Our family swim all the time. Years ago it was pretty polluted & they have had a couple 'mid-haps' this year but were cleaned up real... More
